Cupid’s Dark Face: Collaboration with Nnu Joel

He slapped me in the face

Took me to a far land

I couldn’t be traced

I flew in the deep ends

Rolling in passion blends

With adoration

And I knew the sun shone

Long into my heart so

But I was wrong

The hurt held me

But love was that free

I was thinking with my heart’s head

Feeling with my head’s hear

Until I dried of passion

Sinking into wells thought quenched love

And  hurt is a badge I now wear

Staring blank at world’s end

Stranded and drained

Faulted by the pretense named  affection

Am letting this dream I held fade

Into abyss forever forgotten

Am burdened enough, and she smiles

Am fractured inside, she is still smiling

Dark light sing me love, I laugh

Am a patient of spasm

And a pill of amnesia helps me less

Trapped within skins of remorse

That I believed love absolute,

Let me fall to faults of lamentation

Barriers of surety broke to perils of deceit

Cupid is a myth read to a lifeless dreamer

Oh, Cupid stabbed

All my peace disturbed

And sweet dreams turned sour

Pain rain after every hour

Here I curse Cupid

Can’t believe love made me this stupid

My favorite line; “Here I curse Cupid Can’t believe love made me this stupid.” This piece is amazing.

Ridiculous quest there. What happened after? Good luck!
