Familiar Strangers

Never think you know people
Loved ones surprise you
You will love to be hurt
Be hurt to be loved
Cry for lost affections
Wonder
When burning passions
Became a dry desert field

You never see
The end sea
When you start sailing
You just wake up one day
And see the shore
Painful sores

Heartbreak is heartless
It leaves you soulless
But the culprits run away
Unscathed
You end up loathing love
Everything
Everyone
And just when hope comes
It burns away
Like coal in the cold

Never think you know people
It’s funny how pain
Rains from familiar skies
